Erskine’s paintings are a bold celebration of the native flora of South Gippsland.
She is a self taught painter of the environment she lives in, her back yard in Sandy Point and the ti-tree forests that hug the dunes around Gippsland.
The past 5 years have seen her collaborating with her daughter, Cait Erskine of “Odysseus and Penelope” fashion brand, creating textile design for resort wear.
The past 3 years Erskine has travelled to Scotland, Europe, Japan and northern parts of Australia. Feeling grateful and fulfilled she is happy to be at home in her studio once again.
