I use botanical specimens of ‘Clematis aristata’, an endemic climbing plant growing in local bushland. The samples were collected at their fluffy seed-head stage in early summer, ready to be cast-off by the wind into new places. I’m responding to the Gippsland landscape using nature printing and etching press, building up the image to combine personal memory and rural experience.
