The works I make are inspired by the potentials offered by upcycled materials. I am excited by the suggestion of shallow depth created by collaged layering and by the fascinating contrasts of textures and patterns available. I also like to bring the work into the viewer’s space by including 3D elements. The earth colours of my pallet and the topographical form of my works make them landscapes even though I enjoy the freedom of abstraction during their construction.
