4 themes which run through my work are children at play, Gippsland colonial history and the preservation of rivers. Tree climbing is a favourite subject matter and in ‘Boy in a Loquat tree’ I remember a loved tree in my childhood backyard. I enjoy exposing the fake ‘explorers’ of Gippsland and the charlatan ‘Count’ Strzelecki is one of them. Mountain galaxies are a tiny, hardy fish which live in high mountain streams.

The Artists of Gippsland exhibition is a touring program starting 8 November 2026 until 17 October 2027.
As such all purchased artwork must be paid in full to secure your purchase.
Collection of goods will be at completion of final touring period closes on 17 October 2027.
We do not arrange shipping of artworks - customers can arrange their own freight.
Where possible the artists maybe able to deliver works around or close to the Gippsland region.
Collection of works is the responsibility of the purchaser and should be made within gallery opening hours.
Each gallery will contact you via email regarding collection of your purchased works and relevant dates.
